Associate professor at the University of Copenhagen. Head of the Danish simulation group at the University of Copenhagen and former member of the ESS scientific advisory group.

Work:

  • Has worked in neutron scattering for two decades, and has co-developed McStas since 1996.
  • Leader of the EU neutron simulation network MCNSI since 2005.
  • Co-responsible for the Danish CRG instrument RITA-2, 2001 - 2008 and involved in the Swiss-Danish crystal analyzer instrument proposal for ESS.
  • Strongly involved in the Scandinavian bid for ESS since 2000.
  • Simulations of crystal analyzer and chopper spectrometers.
